Ken first joined the staff in 2011 as the Minister of Administration. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and worked in restaurant management for ten years before transitioning to a Fortune 500 company for another 11. Throughout this time, Ken served as a volunteer in college ministry and other operational functions within the church. Ken and his wife Nicole have two biological children, Jake and Paige, and one adopted daughter, Sharon.
In his position, Ken oversees all operations, finance, staffing, and facilities for the church. He also oversees the church’s worldwide missions efforts. The value of Ken’s position lies in his desire for the behind-the-scenes activities of the church to run efficiently and effectively so that the ministries of University Heights can operate as envisioned. Ken believes in the importance of connecting people to the local church so that they can find satisfaction in their relationship with God individually and collectively.
